OptiMatrix

OptiMatrix is a human plasma-based matrix that closely mimics human fresh, frozen plasma. OptiMatrix is intended for use in the laboratory environment when preparing specimens for plasma based analysis, and is not intended for use as a substitute for the integral diluents, standards or controls provided by in vitro diagnostic kit manufacturers. This product is considered a general purpose reagent.

Procedure

OptiMatrix has been carefully formulated to mimic naturally occurring human plasma. Therefore, the product can be used with any test procedure that requires preliminary dilutions of test specimens in human serum or plasma.

Product Description

OptiMatrix is an EDTA based normal human plasma (NHP) that has been tested and found non-reactive for HBV DNA, HCV RNA, HIV-1 RNA, anti-HIV-1/2, HBsAg, anti-HBc, anti-HBs, anti-HCV and anti-HTLV I/II.

It is recommended that OptiMatrix be stored at -20°C to -85°C to ensure highest quality. OptiMatrix may be refrozen after first use, thawed and used a second time with minimal loss of activity. Discard any unused material after second use.
