The OptiQual HHV DNA Negative Control, as an independent external control, allows the researcher to compare results obtained by different methodologies, evaluate or compare nucleic acid test procedures for HHV DNA, and demonstrate assay proficiency and reproducibility within the research environment.
Product Description
OptiQual HHV DNA Negative Control is a proprietary physiological buffer system designed to mimic naturally occurring human specimens containing HHV DNA. It has been carefully formulated to resemble body fluids such as CSF where many herpes viruses may be found. This product is negative for the antibodies to HIV-1/2, HBsAg, and for HSV-1, HSV-2, and EBV DNA.
OptiQual HHV DNA Negative Control contains Proclin 300 as a preservative.
